Process Control and Technical Performance

The performance, purity, and reliability of our units depend on rigorous control of the synthesis process, which is based on a controlled exothermic reaction between hydrogen (H₂) and chlorine (Cl₂) or bromine (Br₂).
Description of the Standard Procedure
A typical process configuration includes the following key steps to ensure optimal and safe production:
- Controlled feedof H₂ and Cl₂/Br₂ reagents.
- Synthesis in a dedicated burner or reactor with precise control of the ratio and temperature.
- Rapid coolingof the reaction gases to stabilize the product.
- Downstream processing for the production of dry gaseous HCl/HBr or an aqueous solution at the required concentration.
- Wastewater treatment through gas scrubbing and neutralization of liquid effluents, in accordance with environmental standards.

Energy Recovery

We integrate heat recovery systems to convert heat into process steam (up to 10 barg).
This transforms “waste” into a useful resource.
